Follow the Old Spanish Trail to its western end.
OSTA’s 2011 Conference will take place near Los Angeles. The conference theme is “The Old Spanish Trail in California.” The program will center on California portions of the trail. Speakers and panels will explore a range of topics from trail-period immigration to the history of locations and people associated with the trail in California.
The conference will include the participation of interested Hispanic and Native American groups as well as government agencies and the scholarly community.
Plan now to attend. We expect this conference to open new vistas for OSTA. In addition, you might plan to stay a few days more to visit family or attractions in southern California.
Please check back from time to time. We’ll be posting updates on the conference venue and the program of speakers, as it develops.
